ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA (SF BAY AREA)

Alameda County Office of Education's Alliance for Arts Learning
Leadership, in partnership with Berkeley Unified School District,
Emery Unified School District and Oakland Unified School District
administrators, principals and teachers, is proud to present the
"Dreams Create Hope: Arts Learning Anchor Schools Conference". We'd
like to cordially invite the national arts education community to join
our local educators and artists to see and hear about on-the-ground
arts integration classroom practice and ways interactive, engaging and
transformative learning strategies are being used every day.

The conference will feature over twenty workshops led by teachers and
teaching artists representing over half of the thirty eight Arts
Learning Anchor Schools, an initiative harnessing the power of the
arts to act as a catalyst for successful teaching and learning across
the curriculum. The conference will also feature an interactive and
art-filled reception, as well as a post-conference social
justice-themed salon.
