[teacherartexchange] warer color paper change

Speaking of changes in paper, has anyone noticed that TRU-RAY's quality has changed? I used to love this paper, but it seemed to have changed last year. The colors are less vibrant and it seems more porous. It turns out they switched manufacturers. I really think the quality of supplies being made right now have gone down hill.
On another note, anybody have experience making a wall hanging using scraps of long material? I saw a great wall hanging made out of recycled pieces of fabric. It was all attached to a branch which held it up. It looked like the pieces were all braided and weaved together and tied to this branch. Just thought I would throw it out there, see if anyone has done something similar with your classes.
