Jane, my best motivation is to make a comittment to
show somewhere in the future. However humble the
space, if you know you are going to have work there in
a few months it is a real help. This has helped me, in
3 years, go from almost making no art to 3 solo shows
in 2 years, getting ready for a gallery solo show in
Tulsa.
I also highly recommend the free affirmation emails
from http://www.artbizcoach.com (I hesitate to put a
period after a URL)
