Subject: New Student Work on My Website
We've been busy in a whole lot of directions--simultaneously! Art I
students are working on wire & sculpey figure sculptures--which are
going to be awesome this year!--and advanced students are working on a
variety of papermaking, casting and pulp painting projects. When the
kids are waiting to use the blenders or waiting to work to dry, they're
working on large drawings. We've been invited to exhibit our pulp
paintings (which use Denise Fleming's work as inspiration) in the
children's section of a local library, and we're also gearing up for our
big, off-campus art show in mid-April.
