It's a camera. Enter "ELmo" into a search and you will eventually get
past the entries for the cartoon character. Weezie (my partner) saw one
at another school in an art room. I've heard of them but not seen it in
action. You just have to aim it at what you want to film. It could
mount to a table, hang from the ceiling, whatever, I guess. I'll try to
find out more specifically from Weezie. I'll probably mount mine on a
large countertop or on the wall over the large countertop. I'll be able
to demonstrate on the countertop while the kids watch the image
projected on the screen is what I am thinking. Or I might have it
mounted in the ceiling over my current demo table. Weezie already
turned in our request with the specs on it. It costs about 1400.00. I
have asked for a copy of it so that my Fine Arts Dept. Chair can request
the 2nd one for us...one for each room. As soon as I get a copy of it I
will tell you where she is buying it from, model # and all that jazz.
Trust me, I will be depending on our tech whizzes to help set it up
right. All I know now is that I WANT IT! I sure hope I get it.
