We're doing an "arts night" with a huge art display, living artworks, a
number from our Spring musical "Fiddler on the Roof" will be performed, and the
Jazz Ensemble will play...National Art Honor Society is doing refreshments, and I
am inviting community artists to attend or do demonstrations. We are making
up t-shirts for the band/chorus/strings/art kids to buy-or anyone else that
wants one- at cost- that say "Celebrate the Arts!" and the band director and I
are giving our kids buttons "Support music" (or something like that!) and "You
Gotta Have Art" from NAEA and challenging our kids to wear them everyday in
March.
