The one day seminar is more of an update as to what rating the examiners have
given for evaluations the year before. They show slides of the submissions
and tell how they were graded. I also got valuable information from them about
how other teachers work the program. The instructors are actually "readers" who
judge the portfolios you send in, so you get a "feel" for what they look for.

Be aware that some universities do not accept AP for credits, especially art
institutes. Remind your students to check with their preferred colleges before
taking it.

The course may be better for you if you need to set up the program. Mine was
in place when I took over the course. Judie50 has taught AP for a long time.
If she is still on the list, she will be a big help.
