Maggie,
   I've had the same work win at one show and not even get a second glance
from the judge at another. Remember, that with all the standards and rules,
art is finally
a matter of opinion. Viewers (inclucing judges) bring a huge variety of
personal experiences when they look at your work. Some will love what you
do, some will hate it, and some will be indifferent. Keep the faith.
