To melt bottles flat....have no idea...my guess is you would have to go to a
craft type site for this info...you can even do window glass and use a
specific type of enamels from Thompson for this purpose much less
expensive....however...it also is a big health risk with powdered enamels and
i am not willing to jeopardize my students.
But I can tell you Corning Glass has a terrific web site to glean info.
They also have great workshops open to everyone. This is where I started my
glass interest for my students....
another place that has great workshops in the mid-east is Sunshine Glass co.
located in Buffalo, NY...also a great supplier and the people have great
expertise....travel to this place just to get larger quantities of
glass....rather than pay shipping and I get to see more, too.
