someone had suggested putting marbles in the bottom of pinch pots...which I
did...with majolica glazed...did a glaze firing.....came out really fun! I
do know of others who have added marbles to glazed pieces, as part of the
work, but when the clay dried, it cracked around the marbles and then the
marbles melted, so the work didn't turn out very well. When we added the
marbles, it was expected that they would melt and puddle in the bottom of the
pinch pot, adding a different effect but looking similar to glaze.
