Watercolor too loose

Date: Wed Feb 19 2003 - 06:01:05 PST

I have done a lesson in watercolor that was painted into a wet-on-wet
glue/watercolor mixture.
It worked in two classes but one class I got ambitious and used watercolor
paper instead of poster board.
It looks very muted, hazy and some kids splattered alot.
I had one child yesterday go back an "find" the floral boquet by painting the
background black by using ink.
This worked ok but I really wish there was some way to give it pop,
I thought of cutting it up and making a collage but I think that is risky
Anyone have any ideas out there?
I assume this is going into the ArtsEdNet talk but I can't access it anymore
with my browser, boo hoo.
