Just finished studying Calder - He created a wonderful circus out of
wire, fabric and odds and ends. There's a book out featuring the circus
- it's called Roar.

I have some clown lessons on my site. You can do drawings of big cats
(lions, tigers), elephants, and monkeys in some classes, others could do
the same animals in cut paper. Have each student create an animal, put
the animal into a cage on wheels, decorate and turn into a circus train.

Looking for some lesson plan ideas or urls for circus themed lesson
plans
for this age group. They do a circus-theme program in phy ed in March
and
we'd like to display art on the gym walls.
Thanks!
