Re: Scratch Art Scratch Foam printing board...a disappointment

Date: Thu Feb 13 2003 - 05:34:18 PST

I have also used scratch foam to make a neighborhood mural. I put up a
large sheet of paper on the back wall, kids added their houses as they
were ready. Scratch foam kids, cars, pets, trees, etc. were also
stamped into the neighborhood. WHen all the stamping was finished, we
painted a road, stamped grass in various greens with little rectangular
pieces of sponge. Some things were added with colored pencil. While
all this was going on, kids were also printing their house and various
other stamped things on a piece of 18x24 black paper. So they each got
to go home with a stamped collage of cars, kids, their house and
possibly a friend's house on their paper. It's a very creative and fun
time. Nobody ever got bored. NOBODY.
