Don't forget A concise book of Modern Art starting with Manet. I had a
Prentiss book paperback with the pages falling out, but it covers Manet to
Pop Art. Since the pages are always fall out, they're easier to scan. It
really is my bible when talking about the Impressionists, German
Experssionists and Pop Art.
