I have these pads that I got at the dollar store that are like the scrubbes
on those green sponges but without the sponge side. Mine came in rainbow
colors. Because they are rough, I can wrap that around the bottle and
usually get the top off. If not, it goes head first in a container of water
to soak for 1/2 hour. Also I found if I asked the kids( 5th grade) to take
off the tops and put the bottle in a box with sides, it saves me lots of
time. Them I would pour the gallon glue bottle over the sink into the elmer's
glue bottles. If I spilled , it was in the sink. And leaning the gallon
bottle on the counters makes it easier to pour and have control. While I'm
doing this ,the tops are in a container with slowly running warm water. Then
tops go on and get wiped with the scrubby. Gail
