Get some paper paint cups (see supply catalogue of your choice) or bathroom
cups (paper). Pour 1/4" amount of slip into each cup. Next day - remove
dried disks from cup. Fire all before giving to kiddies. Distribute bisque
disks (say that one 5x fast)
and let kids draw with underglaze pencils or paint with underglazes on the
disk. Let underglazes dry. DIP when dry into transparent glaze. Let
dry..........and fire...if glazing the backside as well as the picture
surface, use nicrome setters so they don't fire to the kiln shelves...(not a
good thing to happen)

You may even try marbelizing the slip while in the cups by pouring some
liquid underglazes in the cup too and swirling the ug with a toothpick in the
slip.

The end result.............pins or pendants Good luck........mARTy Reid
