Does anyone know why glazes run sometimes? I just fired some student's
work and all of the glazes ran down the sides. Some turned out the
better for it, but some pieces really don't look too good. All the
colors ran, so I don't think it was the glaze itself. Could the firing
have been too hot? Not hot enough? Too slow? Too fast?

Any ideas?
