Advisory Period

Folks,
I need your help again. I'm involved with the scheduling
commitee at my high school. We have been holding seminars
once a week for 71 minutes and they have been a waste of
time. We want to have instead Advisory period with a
specific agenda. I was wondering if any of you have done
this and whether you have a model for an advisory seminar
that we can acquire.
