I have always used a center table to demo art lessons, and have always had
students gather around it. I remember the first time I had 34 (many
man-sized!) 8th graders try to gather--it struck me that there had to be a
better way! A Visual Presenter would be the perfect technology to utilize!
(Too bad education isn't run like business...sigh...Can you imagine
corporations being successful if they had to make do with outdated, outmoded
junk? The teachers' desks in our district are so old, none lock, and some
have missing drawers! Student tables have wobbly legs etc. We use sheets
instead of screens with our overhead projectors, IF we are lucky enough to
have one!) But it IS nice to dream!
