Hi,
Just one suggestion...become as much a paperless campus as possible; at least on the staff side. I initiated a listserv for my school staff and now we communicate mostly on that. Daily bulletins, staff agendas, special notices, weekly updates, etc. Anything that used to take over 80 pieces of paper and courier service now comes through the listserv.
I know this requires that each teacher have access to a computer. I set up the listserv on Yahoogroups.com and it was very easy.

Does anybody have any suggestions for saving money for a school district that is cutting back. My superintendant has ask all of us, in my school district, to put on our thinking caps to come up with any plans to save money. Someone had suggested that his/her school district is no longer hiring subs but, that they use teachers from within to fill the void. Any suggestions would be appreciated.. as a art teacher my area "the Arts" is usually the first ones to be cut.
Thank you
Wayne
