I still maintain, and a local science teacher confirmed, that the germyest
most contaminated surface in a school is the desk top. Kids cough on it,
wipe their snot on it, sneeze it, touch it with their germy hands etc. It
would be cleaner to have your students eat off the floor. The clay is
relatively harmless. Sid
