I recommend a book called Printmaking: History and Process by Donald Saff and
Deli Sacilotto. It covers many processes, has a great history section, nice
illustrations and a good glossary. writes:
>Hello all you helpful people,
>I'm looking to order some great reference books for the school library/our
>classroom about printmaking, particularly monotype/intaglio/relief. I
>already have _Monotype : Mediums and Methods for Painterly Printmaking_ by
>Julia S. Ayres, and there's another general printmaking reference on order.
>Any FAVORITES, in terms of general history/examples/technique?
