Mac, PC, Photoshop and now Printers

Many thanks to all of you for your input to my mac,pc, photoshop question.
But I now have a new question: has anyone used a Tektronix Phaser 850
Printer (Xerox) which uses solid ink? My district wants me to use one of
these printers and I have looked up info on their website but would like to
know more than brochure talk. Help! anna
