I expect the young adults, high school, that I teach to create objects that
reflect the design principles and 3d design theories. they make candle
lanterns up to 24 inches tall, fountains, soup tureens, salad bowl sets,
vases, pitchers, sculptures, etc. But never in my lifetime will they be
allowed to make items such as you describe. the closest that we would come
would be the tiles that we are creating for the entry way into the 3d studio.
Your expectations are not too high, they are merely reasonable. I can't
imagine what state standard you would expect to meet with the other.
