The other day the principal happened upon the fifth grade classroom where I
was doing a figure drawing lesson (ala cart). She glanced through the
sketches as I was giving them out and said, " I see some of you are very good
drawers and some of you are probably good at other things." Was I in shock?
Were my eyeballs popping out of my head? I answered her by saying that this
was an extremely talented class and they are all good artists. She continued
by announcing that she was never good in art when she was their age and they
know who the good artists in the class really are!!!!!!! HELLO!
We stepped out into the hall for a chat.
