    Linda-
    You can fuse the same glass to the same. Experiment with fusing
    different glass types to each other, it may work, it may not.
    Different glass types have varied reciprocities in their chemical
    composition. They may crack because of the stress, from varied
    annealing points. There are glasses that are specifically made for
    fusing such as Bullseye, GNA and Dichloric. Do you know what kind of
    scraps you have?
