I don't use premixed glazes very often (I mix clear glaze with mason
stains... works GREAT for elementary), but the last time I used red I
had the same problem. I had made a tomato rattle and wanted it red. I
must have fired it 4 times, re-glazing each time, til it came out
right. Something about the reds liking higher temps or lower temps, I
can't remember, but they are finicky. Double check your temps and maybe
refire one setting higher or lower and see if it works. Maybe Numo can
answer this one!
