Scandinavian/Nordic artists often use the wonderful light this part of the
world has in their works. One can look at Munch´s winter landscapes, The
Danish Skagen painters, many Finnish painters and quite a few icelandic
ones. Unfortunately there are not many international publications on the
icelandic ones but I would look at the Skagen painters of Denmark. You
might find some icelandic artists at this: www.menning.is
Best regards from the far north,
Rosa
