Perhaps the Islamic student can make a clay relief plaque of Arabic
letters/sayings from the Koran, or a façade design for a mosque. Clay tiles
are very famous in Islamic Art, too. Musical instruments based on Arabic
style music? Hope you get more responses on this...sounds like it could
be an interesting new thread on the list.
