    Try http://www.flinet.com/~muniz/chinese.html There's a great little software program you can download at this site that shows students the order of brushstrokes in several 'units' of chinese characters. I used it with K-1, but also spent a few hours playing with it myself -- I think it would still be applicable for gr. 8-9. Good luck!
