many thanks to all of you who sent information and tips on paris.
anyone who teaches art, or loves beauty must go to paris. in the louvre, i
was like a small child!! had my husband not kept the map in his hand and
focused me, i would have darted around in a wild frenzy. the shame of the
louvre is having only one day there!!
mona lisa was disappointing. the painting is under plexi glass and the people
were pushing and shoving and taking FLASH pictures. of course (like
everyone else) i would have enjoyed the painting more if i were the only one
in the room! "the raft of medusa" was incredible!
at the museum d'orsay, what amazed me most was van gogh. really!! the
    colors were breathtaking.
what an inspiring place. everyone should go! the information i got from all
of you was really helpful. thanks again.
