BLACK GLUE: THE FINAL PERFECT SOLUTION

Don't know if anyone else has discovered this. My lower elem. students win
upteen awards with black glue and pastel pictures on gray or black surfaces,
wows the judge every time every year, anyway, after fussing with ink glue
mixes I discovered that the perfect solution is: Ta Da = The manufacturer
doesn't need to make black glue, because you can use:

QUALITY BLACK TEMPERA put in the glue bottles.(I use the Premium Black from
Dick Blick, order 2 gallons of it a year just for this purpose.) It doesn't
harden or anything. It's only flaw is that it flakes just a bit, only a
little bit, as I handle the pictures and stack them for grading. BUT WHO
CARES ! No more mixing glue and inevitible india ink/glue mix hardening
inside and having to come up with 20 more glue bottles periodically. Now
I've been using the same glue bottles (refilling them with a spout thing)
for years. Plus, the consistancy is much more perfect. We just put our
finger over top of glue bottle and give some very good shakes before the
    squirts.
