    I always tell people that I teach art because it is as important a subject
    as any other. Then I ask them why they chose to teach 5th grade over junior
    high over high school over music over p.e. etc etc. I also tell them I love
    my job and the fact that I get to teach the same kids for 13 years, thus
    having the chance to personally watch them grow up!
