We use ice cube trays to keep paint in. It helps with passing out supplies
for the younger students. In order to keep the paint from drying out I
stack the paint filled icecube trays in a plastic rubbermaid sweater
container(the kind that fits under the bed). The paint stays wet for 4-6
weeks. When they need to be washed I soak them overnight in a large bin. The
next day they are pretty clean. Over the summer I run them through the
dishwasher.
