I have used many different things already mentioned for painting....but
one...which I haven't seen mentioned and which works great in a pinch is
old magazines. Tear off the cover and the pages serve as palettes...which
can be torn off easily when done or full......and re-stacked for
reuse. The pages are usually glossy and don't absorb much at all. The
disadvantage is they aren't white...so you can't see what color you have
exactly....but for small amounts of paint...or short amounts of
time....these can be lifesaver. lia
