fiber dye question

I'm planning to begin a fibers unit next week. The students will dye fabric
and we'll use it for adinkra (sp?) printing and in weavings. I have used a
cold water dye before but I forget the brand and can't seen to find anything
except Rit. I recently read in School Arts that you can also use watered
down acrylics. Any ideas/suggestions? anyone know a cold water dye?
