FYI I ask art teachers continually for their input and value it all. Any
and all information is shared inhouse. If it is something we can implement,
it goes in our catalog. Specifically the people on this list have had
tremendous impact on the Sax catalog. Some of the criteria we use centers
around the saleability of any given product as well as the availability and
price. If anyone has product suggestions, you can feel free to forward them
to me. If you don't see the product in the next catalog, it isn't because
we haven't considered it. I will forward the product ideas mentioned in the
original message to our marketing dept. Judy

    Subject: doing it better

Thank you to all who replied to my question about elementary art painting.
    Now,
how about this one? Don't you sometimes wish that the art supply companies
would come up with some better products? Do you really think they ask art
teachers about what they would like? I wish they would make cheap, glossy
    paper
on a pad for mixing paints. The paper should be about 6"x 8". Or they
    could
make disposable paper containers for holding paints that could be sealed
    shut
and carried around in little trays or boxes. Also, how about those ever
clogging glue tops? Crayola has a new, supposedly non-clogging cap. Have
    any
of you tried it yet? Does anyone have any more ideas for products which
    haven't
    been invented yet?
