It depends on the age of the children I am teaching what I use. With
children older than 8 or 9 I use palettes, but they only get the primary
colours and black and white, and very little at a time so notthing goes
to waste. For my young students(4 to 7 or 8) I usually have small jars with
paints and one brush for each colour then if they must mix colours they do
it on a styrofoam tray and get extra brushes. It works really well but then
I never have more than 12 or 14 students. The older students take care of
the cleaning, I clean for the young ones.
Best wishes from the far north,
Rosa
