A good project to start off with is pinch pots, easy and gets the kids used
to clay and its limitations.
From her you can make pinch pot animal sculptures (put two pich pots
together( score and slip), and make sure there is a hole somewhere for air
to escape, add legs arms... so on
students like sculptural stuff!!
coil pots are good too!!
clay cultural masks!! These are fun the the students love doing them
