My 7th and 8th graders are researching artists on the web. I've had several
students want to research some of the animators of their favorite games.
I've got one good biography of a Japanese Animator that I cut out of a
magazine but the kids are really coming up short finding anything on the
web. I also have a student who is researching Jim Davis and can find lots
on Garfield but nothing on the artist. Same thing goes for some deceased
graphic artists such as Walt Disney, Chuck Jones, and a few others.

I would rather students research some more traditional artists but these
particular students are some that normally don't get so excited about a
lesson so I'm trying hard to find more resources.

Any suggestions for good web-sites that have biographies for animators and
other graphic designers? I've got lot's of "traditional" fine artists
    research sites at: http://artmosphere.homepage.com/pages/spotlight.html

    Thanks,
