Yes, (not from a spouse,however--I am single). I am greeted with
suppressed grins when I ask an adult whom I have just met, "How do you say
your name?" or "How do you like to be called?". "Pronounce" is a word that
has no meaning to a primary age child...I learned that eons ago.

Anyone else get accused by the spouse of using their "teacher voice" with
|them? Repeating, yes, but Talking s-l-o-w-l-y and ann-un-ci-a-ting? :)
