Hi,
I teach High School Crafts classes and this is my
first year. One of the lessons in the curr. is a
batik t-shirt design. I've decided that since we are
low on supplies, mainly the wax resist, there designs
will be in the front, center of the shirt rather than
dyeing the whole t-shirt.
I was wondering if somone could help me figure out
what to base their designs on? What art historical
genre should I use for the starting point of this
project? And if any one has any tips on batik?
Thanks,
Jessica
