    funny that this thread began about the lack of tolerance of others. i began
    using all lower case letters in high school. i was trying to make a
    statement about our insignificance in the universe. (i was one of those studen
    ts) it has stayed with me all these years and has become my personal style.
    naturally, i am prevented from making my "statement" in many areas of my
    life. i generally know when and where and was under the impression that using
    all lower case is acceptable in email. i never believed i was being
    offensive here in this forum.
