Old, old art book value?

Does anyone know where I can find info on the value of a very old and rare
art book? Published in 1882, it is titled "Illustrated Biographies of
Modern Artists" and features work by several Victorian era artists. It was a
limited edition of 1200 copies, and this is copy # 351. I don't have my
list of all the artists with me, but one was the president of the Royal
Academy in the late 1800s, Leighton. One of the works included is "Death of
    the First Born."

Some of the works in this book (which is in very good condition) are
apparently real etchings or lithographs or whatever--you can feel the
varying textures of the ink. Others are called "Fac-Similes"

I plan to take this to a local rare books dealer, but wondered if any of you
might be able to share suggestions re: how to have it accurately appraised
    by someone knowledgable.

I read (online) about an artbook of the same era (different artists) being
    valued at between $65,000-$81,000!!

(By the way, this is not MY book--I found it in the art room--at my 122 year
old school--while digging through some shelves!!)

Thanks for any suggestions you can offer!!
