OK, all you artsednetters out there-my school system is engaged in a search
for a new superintendent. It has been narrowed to 2 candidates, neither of
which appear to be real teacher-friendly or art-friendly. I am sure some of

fabulous it was, how it saved his son and has been cutting it ever since.

losing 60% of art and 40% of music at the middle schools next year, and maybe
elementary next year. We are at the whims of our principals, who only want
us for classroom teacher's prep time.
Our super still swears up and down on a stack of bibles that he's for the
arts, but you can't get any art teachers to agree.
