    Hello Anna,
Brice Marden would be the perfect artist example for this technique. His
    imagery is very spider like.
A technique to try with Kinders similar to straw painting is to put
marbles in paint & put them on a piece of paper in a flat coke can box & roll
    the marbles around. Bill

Hello, Im wondering if anyone can htink of an artist that could go along
with a Kindergarten "spiderpaint" lesson (color mixing by blowing H20 color
with cut straws). I was thinking Pollack...but he doesn't seem to quite
fit the bill - though it does seem a form of action painting.
Just curious if anyone knows of any other artists with a "look" like this
H20color technique. Other connections such as 'spontaneous art' or
'letting the paint take control' and 'unplanned' are good too...artists
     anyone?
     Thanks for any ideas
     Anna
