If you have a mac G3 blue and white or a mac G3 all in one and
avid video editing software you do not need the converter box.
You have tv mirroring on your hard drive and you can get to it on
your control strip, you need RCA cables or the kind that you use
to hook up your VCR, connect the output from the computer to the
input of your monitor and then click TV mirroring on on the
control strip found under the plain screen tv. If TV mirroring
is not an option You also can click the little checkered TV
screen on the control box and hit the selection that has the word
over scan in it, if you don't have tv mirroring or the scan
option, then you need the box that Alix is talking about. I am
not positive about the choice of words in the over scan box that
you need to select as the system I have here does not have it on
my control strip. But I think it says over scan or it may have
the letters NTS after it. Just try them all. I will check at
work today about the exact words and send them off later. If
this is really hard to understand, I can show you I live in
    Wisconsin and visit MI often.
