    I am a new doctoral student through the Union Institute. The working title of
    my program is" Teachers' Journeys Toward Spirituality, Community and Social
    Action Through Art Making". I will be working with teachers on issues of
    racism, equity and power in their lives at school through the use of drawing,
    video, photography and some dramatic forms.
       I am seeking resources ( books, arts organizations) in these fields ,
    including the names of major theorists and practioners , preferably
    educators / artists who are people of color.
