I went through this a few years back. I was extremely grateful to my
principal at the time for pointing the architect my way to discuss
needs.I asked for light( artificial and natural( a window), large sinks
that could accommodate 5 kids at a time. One deep sink for buckets, a
separate storage area that could lock, bulletin board walls, and storage
for flat ,large paper, posters, that pulled out . (He designed a great
cabinet with flat shelves that could just slide forward). Got
everything that I asked for, and then transfered to a different school
in the district. . Betsy
