    Amazing, I had the same experience this week with collage. Perhaps it's just
    too abstract a concept. I felt they needed me to tell them what to do step by
    step. Usually I simply do a picasso face, cut a side profile and paste over a
    full view, etc. Or I've done a city using cut pieces of paper for windows and
    door. this could be enhanced by using newsprint for parts of the picture and
    photos of people in the window, I think. But they sure ned to be walked
    through it.They didn't like this kind of art, either, so that made it harder.
    Anyone have a successful experience?????
